Core & Pelvic Floor
Optimal function of your core and pelvic floor is key to building a strong foundation, no matter your fitness goals. Through proper education and coaching, my goal is to help you build a great connection to these often overlooked muscles that are at the centre of all movement!
Some of the symptoms of weakness (or tightness) in the abdominal or pelvic floor muscles are incontinence, SI joint pain, low back and hip pain.
In this 8 week class you will learn to strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles using techniques beyond crunches and kegels! In a whole-body approach you will learn posture, breathing, strength training, and basic habits that will allow you to perform daily tasks pain free and be prepared for the unexpected sneeze or spontaneous laugh without worry of leaking.
This class is appropriate for all fitness levels.
